I wanted to send our thanks to you and the Golden Cannoli Co. for manufacturing a great product that is also nut free.

My granddaughter Lily has severe nut allergies and as a result could never eat anything that was made in a bakery or pastry shop. Needless to say that made us all feel bad that Lily could not participate in enjoying sweets at a birthday party or a holiday celebration.

One day she asked me what a cannoli tasted like because she would like to have one. I gave her the best explanation I could realizing that I expected all of the boxed cannoli shells to have been produced in a factory that also produces nuts. I checked this out on the internet and found that this was true until I Googled nut free cannoli and what a surprise, the Golden Cannoli company appeared! Lily jumped for joy! She was so happy that I promised her we would take her to the factory in Somerville and make our own cannoli.

That's when we met you and you were very kind and suggested what to buy. So, armed with 3 boxes of cannoli shells and your ricotta filling, we drove home to Marshfield and made our first batch of Lily's homemade cannoli from the Golden Cannoli Co. I am attaching a picture of Lily enjoying her very first cannoli with her sister Gabriella.

You have no idea how happy you have made this child! Not to mention how happy you made this Italian grandfather!! As Italians, you all know how important it is to hand down tradition and Italian food is a big part of our culture. Lily now wants to know if I can make her a cannoli cake for the holidays!! Sorry for the long e-mail but I just felt I had to share this story with you and your company. Thanks again for making my granddaughter so happy!
